If you missed out on the one-day deal on iTunes gift cards at Sam’s Club yesterday, you have another chance to get a good discount on them at Dollar General. They’re offering a 15% instant discount on several denominations all week, so there’s plenty of time to stock up on them.
The Deal
- Save 15% on $25, $30 and $50 iTunes gift cards at Dollar General.
Key Terms
- Expires November 16, 2019.
- Limit 1 per customer.
- Excludes $15 and variable card.
Quick Thoughts
15% off iTunes gift cards is a fairly common deal at different retailers, although it’s always a popular one as it can be break even or profitable for some gift card resellers.
It’s a shame that the variable load card is excluded as that makes it much easier to scale from a reselling perspective. The limit of one per customer should be fairly easy to get around; you don’t have to scan a shopper’s card to get the discount, so you can certainly buy more than one. You might need to do that in separate transactions though and it’ll also depend on the cashier you get. If nothing else, you could visit different Dollar General stores or visit the same store at different times of the day or on different days to get more.
Dollar General is also offering $5 off when buying two of the following gift cards this week:
- Applebee’s
- Cracker Barrel
- Darden (Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse & others)
- Domino’s
- IHOP
- PlayStation Store
$10 cards and variable load Darden cards are excluded, but it’ll save you 10% when buying two $25 cards which isn’t too bad. They might also stock $15 Domino’s gift cards; if so, that’d be a 16.67% discount.
