Quick Thoughts
I don’t constantly track airfares to Fiji, but I don’t recall ever having seen a price this low out of the US. I doubt this one will last for long.
Update: Thrifty Traveler Premium reports that this sale ends March 12th. I still wouldn’t count on it lasting that long, but it might. They also report some dates available for about twenty bucks less via Skyscanner.
Note these are about 11 hours in each direction. The price is right, but it’s a long flight.
You can use Google Flights to search for the deal. Availability certainly isn’t daily, but it’s not bad.
Since these prices are available via major online travel agencies, you’ll also find them through credit card portals. Here’s the flight pricing out at 26,358 Ultimate Rewards points with the Chase Sapphire Reserve card.
If you’re looking to get to Fiji, this is hard to beat.

…And earn Alaska miles. Although cheap with UR points, there is that opportunity cost if using them instead of cash:
[(5 x airfare w/ either Prestige or Amex Plat) + (10916 AS miles) + (that much closer to status on AS)]
I expect you would still earn Alaska miles if booking through the ultimate rewards portal just like any cash ticket. Flight bookings through the ultimate rewards portal generally qualify for mileage earning. Is there any reason why these specifically wouldn’t?
You would be giving up on the 5X though.
$395 does NUTTHING to a cost of a trip over the 2 weeks or a month . I had 4 and 5* hotels for 30 days like $90 per nite Max with Air (6) too DownUnder.
