Air France / KLM is out with its August 2024 Promo Rewards. Economy class redemptions are once again available from a number of US cities to destinations in Europe — and this time, there’s even a sale between one US city and one African city.
The Deal
- Air France KLM Flying Blue has several routes from the US to various destinations in its monthly Promo Rewards for August 2024. Qualifying routes and promotional pricing are as follows:
- Detroit (DTW) to/from Europe: Save 25% on Air France economy (starting at 15,000 miles)
- Toronto (YYZ) to/from Europe: Save 25% on Air France economy awards (at 15,000 miles)
- Boston (BOS) to/from Europe: Save 25% on KLM economy awards (starting at 15,000 miles)
- Houston (IAH) to/from Europe: Save 25% on KLM economy awards (starting at 15,000 miles)
- Atlanta (ATL) to/from Nairobi, Kenya (NBO): Save 25% on Air France economy awards (starting at 26,250 miles)

Quick Thoughts
If you’re in the market for economy class travel between any of the listed US cities and Europe, it’s worth poking around a bit as we often find that there are some deals that are even better than advertised. Stack the savings a bit further with the 25% current point transfer bonus from Citi Thank You Rewards to Air France / KLM Flying Blue to get economy class awards for very few miles.
