Key Terms

Quick Thoughts
In the past it was possible to get a monthly calendar view of award pricing when searching on Air France’s website by leaving the date blank when submitting your initial search. Although it does subsequently still show a calendar view, for some reason it hasn’t been displaying the actual award pricing for each day for several weeks for me.
That therefore makes it much harder to see award availability at a glance, but when running a few searches there appears to be good availability from at least some cities to Europe. For example, on the days I searched I found a couple of nonstop options pricing out at 15,000 miles from New York to Paris.
These discounted awards come with higher-than-ideal taxes and fees, but the lower pricing can still make these worthwhile.
We usually try to book flights a year in advance when they are first released. If they go down in price due to the promo, is it possible to get the difference back with Flying Blue? Otherwise, perhaps it’s a program you should plan on booking last minute versus in advance, since these promos are so common?
there’s nothing for peak July/August sadly
Certainly wouldn’t want to flying to CDG at that time!
