Lowe’s is offering a bonus free $15 Lowe’s Gift Card when you purchase a $200 Visa Gift Card (up to two per email address). This could be a fantastic deal if stacked with the Chase Offer for Lowe’s (good for 10% back with varying caps), though it isn’t totally clear to me whether this is being offered nationwide.

  • Visit www.lowesgiftcardbonus.com/ to claim bonus

Quick Thoughts

This is a terrific deal, though I can’t tell for sure whether it is available nationwide. The FAQs on the submission site are vague and slim on details, so it is a little hard to know for sure.

If it is indeed available everywhere (or at least in your area), be sure to combine it either with a card synced with the Chase Offer or with a card that earns a category bonus at home improvement stores. There is a $6.95 activation fee on the variable-load gift cards sold at Lowe’s, but the Chase Offer should still make the deal profitable before even considering the Lowe’s gift card. Note that this will not stack in any way with recent Lowe’s gift card deals as you can’t use those gift cards to buy other gift cards.

I might recommend checking your local Lowe’s flyer or gift card rack to see if you find any reference to this promo. It looks like you need to enter the Visa Gift Card info on the redemption site (shown under Key Terms above) in order to get the Lowe’s bonus card. It looks legit, but I haven’t yet seen this in-store myself, so I recommend at least looking around to see if there is a sign or ad. That said, the person who originally tagged us on Twitter about it seems to have snapped a pic in-store.

I’ll probably take advantage of this one myself as I have a number of Chase cards with the Lowe’s offer. Submissions seem to be limited to two per email address rather than per household.

Just visited a Lowes store in Chicago area and the customer service confirmed the deal!

I had the chase offer (10%/max $19) on 4 cards. My local store in Seattle had the same sign up. Picked up $20-$200 variable load card loading $200 each on separate transactions. Claim was instant.

Michael

Picked up 2 in separate transactions yesterday. Submitted for the bonus this morning for the 2 cards using the same email. It is instant: after you enter the required info, you get a digital lowes GC on your screen.

My store sold Grocery Everywhere VGC at Customer Service. These have a $4.95 fee.

Don’t forget you can stack with the JetBlue card link program to earn 3x JetBlue miles as well with Lowe’s purchases.

Brandon

You sure the site is legit? Seems sketchy. No mention on Lowe’s.com

Mike

Are they meta bank cards?

Derek

Assuming this works, does anyone know if you can combine these gift cards, or how many you can use in a single transaction?

Derek

Great call. Thanks!

Mark

I know that Lowe’s can do split tender at the registers with an almost unlimited number of payment methods. I remember years ago getting some sort of Visa gift card that gave back 5% at Lowe’s and I ended up with over 100 of them with $1.25 remaining on each. I did purchases at Lowe’s using 20 or 30 of them at a time!

Submissions seem to be limited to two per email address rather than per household”

Considering that they don’t ask for home address, I suppose this has to be the case.
