Update 8/20: Some folks have been having issues with the links below. A Loyalty Lobby reader shared a method to remove the promo code pop-up screen so that you can access the sign-up page. You can see the full method here.
It also looks like Radisson has changed the promo to only award one year of status instead of two.
~~~ Original post follows
Everyone likes elite status, especially when it’s simple to get and doesn’t cost you anything. Yesterday, Loyalty Lobby uncovered an opportunity that’s about as cheap and easy as any that I’ve seen.
By clicking a link and filling out a brief form, you can get two one free year of Radisson Rewards top-tier VIP status which includes free upgrades, lounge access, early check-in, late check-out and free breakfast for two (among other things) at all Radisson-branded hotels outside the Americas.
There’s actually some very appealing international Radisson properties. Even if you don’t have any plans to visit one, it’s worth signing-up and getting the status now. There’s no expiry listed and I can’t imagine that it will stay alive long.
Some folks are having issues using the link contained in the post below, others sail right through. If you get an error, try a different browser or browser instance. You may also be able to sign into your Radisson Rewards account, click this link and submit the form. (h/t: Grant).
The Deal
- Get two years of Radisson Rewards top-tier VIP status for free by applying through promo link
- Applies to new and current members
- Status applies instantly and is good for
twoone year from sign-up month - Access code should pre-fill when you click through the link below. If it doesn’t, use 8325840fa7 (dead)
- The promo code AMBVIP1 should be pre-filled in the form
Quick Thoughts
Ok, so it’s not Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton or IHG, but there are some very nice Radisson properties around the world…especially Radisson Blus (Radisson Americas was purchased by Choice in 2022)…and this is about as easy as it gets.
Evidently this is a promo that was launched for SAS Eurobonus members and it gives you instant VIP status after filling out a one-page form and clicking through an e-mail confirmation.
Benefits include:
- Upgrade to the best available room category at check-in (including suites at some properties)
- Free breakfast for two daily
- Lounge access if applicable
- Free early check-in and free late check-out subject to availability.
- Priority check-in
That’s a nice list of bennies to have for two years in case the opportunity arises to stay at an international Radisson and well-worth a couple of minutes to sign-up.
The link to create an account: https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us/radisson-rewards/join
It doens’t have a code box
It’s probably dead
Tim-
I’ve had a Radisson acct since 2021. Tried to log in to my account and got an error message saying that I had to ACTIVATE my account before I could log in.
So, created a new acct and never got the email to activate that acct.
No Chat available on the website and I can not find a US phone number that I can call.
I would love to give this a try, am I missing anything here?
Thanks for all that the FM team does for me/us all
Try again with a clean browser. I created a new account the validation email took about 20min (not instant) – the new status was there 48hrs later (when I checked again not sure when it came through as there was no notification)
The link doesn’t go to the promo page, just standard login page. Dead?
I think it’s dead. Does anyone have another link that brings you to the offer page? This link and LL’s link just brings you to a regular sign up page.
Didn’t work for my existing account but I used LL method to get it on a new email. Valid for 2 years.
I’m curious if this can status match to anything else!
It gave you 2 years? When did you do it? I was in the afternoon tuesday (hours after the initial post) and only got 1 yr.
I think it was tues night
The loyalty lobby work around worked for me and my wife. We didn’t have accounts though.
I tried and tried and nothing was working, but I took heart from someone here saying they were able to do it by making a new account with another email address. I told my husband to try–I was burned out on it.
He tried several things with the same problems, then with some help from our IT son, he was finally able to get through and open a new account, use the promo code, and he was given 2 years of Radisson Rewards VIP status!
Thanks for keeping us up to date and all the new deals you find!
AMBVIP1 worked for this just a few minutes ago
Says the AMBVIP1 code is invalid now. 1915 EDT
Failed for me on multiple attempts after the first notification. Page would error out, and then when trying again, “an account exists with that email”. Logging in w password does not work, Send password reset, which sends a link to activate account, but that form requires knowing your Radisson number which is never provided…
same thing happened to me. i just made a new account with a different email on the promo page, and it worked.
Anyone have luck with this still? Get the Access Denied page when clicking the main link. The link in the Update section just redirects to account homepage.
Topcashback is running 15.15% cashback today (4 hours to go), but with my new VIP log in, the web site keeps telling me the rates are unavailable after initially showing availability with prices. Only first reservation was successful, but after that, I keep getting the same error, when I try properties in 2 different countries, from 2 devices. Are you guys able to book anything at all?
I just joined and signed up – 1 year for me.
Still alive. Create an account, then use the link at the top of the page
Thanks. Did you get 2 years of status or 1 with that method? The Loyalty Lobby discussion suggests that only new accounts get 2 years; not sure whether your method counts as new enough.
I had a friend sign up for her. She got 1 year.
Thanks!
Existing account (with no points). One year of status.
Hm…I registered a new account and get an error when trying to activate that account, but going back through the form for existing accounts and putting in my e-mail address resulted in approval of VIP status. But because I can’t activate the account, I have no idea what my number is and can’t log in. It doesn’t seem to be my old Radisson Americas number (I don’t think I registered with Radisson Everywhere Else previously).
Same problem for me
I got in touch with them here: https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us/contact-us
Then Online > Radisson Rewards > Radison Rewards questions (don’t choose “Activate your account”; they couldn’t find it that way) > fill the form in (pick a random city and hotel) > then in the comments you can explain and ask them to send you your number. They confirmed that the account had been activated, sent my number, and confirmed the VIP status.
When logging in I was still asked to complete the activation, but it worked since I then had the number. (It also supposedly sent me a link to verify my e-mail address, but I never received it.)
VIP status was given for 2 years in this instance.
