Ever said that you wouldn’t fly Frontier, even if they paid you? Well, Frontier Airlines is trying to test your resolve by offering a promo for those willing to actually fly on Frontier. You can get 100% off of non-stop travel within the continental US on Tuesdays/Wednesdays until 11/16/22 if you book today, 9/20/22.
There are a ton of conditions (as you might expect). Travel must be roundtrip, is restricted to non-stops, is valid Tuesday and Wednesday only and excludes multiple fare classes and some routes. Still, my assumption is that the seats that are on sale will go quickly given that they’re, uh, free. This doesn’t include any of Frontier’s myriad add-on costs, so you could end up paying more than nothing by having a carry-on, selecting a seat, drinking water, etc.
The Deal
- Get a 100% discount on non-stop, domestic Frontier Airlines flights until 11/16 using the promo code BUYNOW.

Quick Thoughts
This could be a great deal for some folks who actually need round-trip, Tuesday/Wednesday travel before November on a non-stop route that isn’t excluded. The Frontier site is getting overloaded right now and is operating fairly slowly, but I couldn’t get any of the non-stops from Seattle to load appropriately (or maybe those routes are excluded from the sale).
The sale doesn’t include taxes, fees, carrier interface charge or the small universe of things that you have to pay for on Frontier, so in the end, it really won’t come with zero out of pocket cost.
That said, if you can travel light and find dates that work, getting domestic flights for just taxes and fees may be worth the squeeze of having to fly Frontier. Let us know if you find any particularly good routes that actually work with the promo.
I am 100k (due to last year’s crazy status match…thanks Hyatt Globalist!) and was able to score a pair of R/T flights from CLE-MCO for mid-November for a whopping $75 per person, all-in (flights, checked and carry-on bags, big seats up front). Not a bad deal and since we’re staying with family, transportation and lodging are also gratis! So, 150 bucks for a 6-day trip to sunny Florida in the late Fall…yes, please!
We’ve flown Frontier before and understand what we’re getting in to, so worth rolling the dice for a getaway like this one.
One other data point. I had no issues logging in to my F9 account, searching for flights and following the entire booking process. In fact, it actually went smoother than other times (this year) I’ve tried to get flights booked. Sorry to hear so many folks struggled to find anything.
Even 100% off isn’t worth it on Frontier
The FLYFRONTIER BIG SCAM on 9-20-2022: This 100% off, BUYNOW promo code, offer by Frontier Airlines WAS A SCAM. THIS SCAM WAS DESIGNED TO BRING PUBLICITY TO FRONTIER AIRLINES. Less than 1 person out of every 10,000 people was able to actually get a deal. THIS WAS THEIR GREATEST SCAM EVER. Over a period of 9 hours, I tried to find round trip flights, flying on Tuesday or Wednesday, from any city, to any destination, using 3 computers and 4 different web browsers AND the deal was declined hundreds and hundreds of times. WHY? Because, there were no deals to be found.
It sounds like you were scammed… You really wasted 9 hours on this???

lol, while a r/t fares is $42 free, the remaining pymt is more than the free fares:
CIC – Carrier Interface Charge
$46.00
AY1 – U.S. Passenger Security Fee
$11.20
ZP – U.S. Domestic Flight Segment Tax
$9.00
XF – (IAH) Passenger Facility Charge
$4.50
XF – (LAS) Passenger Facility Charge
$4.50
TOTAL PAYMENT DUE
$75.20
Yeah, the “carrier interface charge” is what makes it silly. I think you can still work around that by going to airport and buying the ticket there, but who wants to do that?
well, multiple tickets could be a savings… i may stop at the airport later this wk to get a 1-way to LAS from PHL for about $35 instead of $300 on SWA

Cannot get the site to book a fare on Chrone or Edge ATM–it just will not take “from” and “to” airports.
I’ve been trying since earlier this afternoon and having the same problem. Doesn’t work on my Mac desktop or android phone
Apple phones either. Scam alert
