Quick Thoughts
Although portals aren’t allowed to offer cashback on purchases across the entire Amazon site, they are allowed to offer cashback on certain categories. Amazon Devices is one such category, with the cashback rate usually only going as high as 3-6%. An increased rate of 10% is therefore excellent, especially given that it’s been timed to coincide with Cyber Monday offers.
For example, the 2nd gen Echo Dot is currently only $19.99, while the 3rd gen is $24.00. Some Kindles and Fire tablets have also had their prices reduced, such as the 7th gen Kindle Paperwhite for $79.99 and the Fire HD 10 tablet for $99.99.
You can gain even more significant savings if you’re targeted for the 20% off up to $500 deal when paying with 1 Membership Rewards point or the $15 off $60 deal when paying with one Ultimate Rewards point.
There’s no date listed for when the 10% cashback rate will decrease, although I’d imagine it’ll only last until the end of today or tomorrow. Edit: Charlie has pointed out in the comments below that TopCashback has been offering 10% on Amazon devices for a few weeks (Cashback Monitor isn’t displaying that properly), so the 10% rate might last longer than I thought.
This post is extremely confusing. I came to it because I thought I would get 10% cashback when making a purchase ON my Amazon device… Using the word “ON” is incorrect. You should use the word “FOR” because it’s actually 10% cashback FOR Amazon devices.
I am not sure about the other portals, but TopCashBack has been running the 10% cash back on Amazon devices for at least the last few weeks (but maybe on and off). I did a post on it a few weeks ago when I first noticed it. Definitely a nice deal to combine that now with the sale prices!
Ah, I didn’t realize that. Cashback Monitor only showed a high of 10% on one day in the past year, so there must be something up with how they’re displaying the best rate history for Amazon.
