Quick Thoughts
These Happy cards used to make me particularly happy, but I haven’t had a chance to take advantage of a deal on them in quite a while and as such haven’t experimented with their use in a while. However, I imagine that it is still possible to buy anything stocked by some stores included on Happy cards, which could make 10% off a terrific deal.
Also note that Happy appears to be out with some new variations. I was at my local grocery store the other day and saw a new Happy Holidays version:
While 10% off won’t necessarily make this a great deal for all merchants, it certainly can be for some, especially when stacked with high credit card rewards on grocery store purchases.

This news is almost a week old. This promotion started on the 21st or 22nd of October. If you’re going to post these deals you need to be more on top of them.
Thanks for your feedback, but we’ll continue to post deals when we see them so that readers who haven’t heard about them can benefit from them. If you see them faster, feel free to pass them along, we always appreciate when readers do. If not, we’ll continue to post them when we see them — I’m not going to not alert readers just because I didn’t see it until a few days after it started. DoC posted it yesterday (my day off). I saw it today and posted it. Nobody gets hurt by hearing about a deal and some will benefit. Glad you already knew about it though — hope you’ve been able to take advantage of it.
Wow! Hope you have a better day Glenn
The happy holidays card in the photo required a manual override for the 10% off at Jewel. The digital coupon doesn’t say which happy cards are included or excluded, and the holidays version is new so maybe that’s why it needed the overrides.
Also, the happy holidays at Lowe’s needed the cashier to enter the last four of the CC number, so you’ll need a friendly one to buy 3rd party GCs at Lowe’s since the card and packaging says it can’t be used to buy gift cards. (It can though, at least as of Friday 10/25.)
