Citi launched a couple of new transfer bonuses yesterday which could be useful for those with a stash of ThankYou points. Through July 19, you can get a 20% bonus when transferring to Air France/KLM Flying Blue and a 50% bonus on transfers to Accor Live Limitless (ALL).

Quick Thoughts
The Flying Blue transfer bonus is straightforward enough seeing as you get 200 bonus points for every 1,000 that you transfer over.
The ALL bonus on the other hand is a little different. ALL points are worth 2 Euro cents per point which is ~2.3 US cents per point. That would be a valuable option if Citi were to transfer to that program on a 1:1 basis, so the transfer rate is normally 1,000:500. This 50% transfer bonus therefore improves that ratio to 1,000:750 which means that you’re getting ~1.73 US cents per point of value. That’s a solid redemption option if you’ll be booking stays at any Accor properties, especially because you don’t have to have enough points to cover the entire stay.
This could prove to be particularly useful for Tim who’ll be using Citi ThankYou points for our upcoming 100K Vacay challenge. Both Flying Blue and ALL could be programs he’d already be looking at for his flight and hotel bookings, so being able to reduce the number of points he has to transfer could come in very handy.
