Google Play has been running occasional gift card deals in recent weeks. They’ve returned with another selection of gift card brands discounted by 10%-20%, with one of the highlights being $100 Disney gift cards for $85.

One of the best deals here is the opportunity to buy $100 Disney gift cards for $85. They rarely go on sale for more than 10% off, so being able to save 15% is excellent.
Other brands on sale include Lowe’s, Bath & Body Works, DoorDash, GameStop, Regal, and more.
Be sure to check the terms of the brand(s) you’re buying because the denominations are different for each deal. Although the main gift card listing page displays the percentage discount for the various brands, that discount isn’t always available on every denomination. For example, the 15% discount on Disney gift cards is only valid on $100 cards, the 20% discount on Regal gift cards is only valid on $50+ denominations, etc.
To find these deals, open the Google Play app, tap your photo in the top right corner, then select ‘Gift Cards’.
I haven’t had a chance to check it out for myself yet, but my understanding is that these purchases count as one of the eligible 4x spending categories on the American Express Business Gold card, provided it’s one of your top two spending categories. I’m assuming it’s the ‘Electronic goods retailers or software and cloud system providers in the U.S.’ category in case that makes a difference for you. Please let us know in the comments if that’s not the case though.
There’s no knowing how long these gift card deals will last, so it’s worth buying ASAP if you’re interested. Check that the discount is being applied before completing the purchase, just in case the deal gets pulled.
I think the limit on gift card purchases from Google Play is $200 per day, although it might be $225 or $250. I’ve seen conflicting data points recently, but I’ve only been able to buy $200 per day personally.
