Graduate Hotels launched a new promotion last week which is still around for bookings made in the next few days for stays through the end of July. It’s being marketed as a ‘Stay one night, get your second night half-off’, but it looks like you’ll get the discount for every second night on longer stays too.

Quick Thoughts

As mentioned above, although the wording on the Graduate Hotels website makes it sound like the promotion might be for stays of two nights, it looks like you’ll get the discount every two nights of longer stays too and so there’s seemingly no need to split up bookings in two night increments in order to obtain the discount.

I’m always a little suspicious when hotel chains market a rate sale as x% off, because usually it’s x% off their standard rate, but cheaper rates than that are always available anyway. That’s somewhat the case here, but if you’re booking in two night increments you should still obtain some good savings.

When checking prices for their property in Ann Arbor next month, it was pricing out at $249 for the night of June 2 and $279 for the night of June 3 when doing a regular search on the website. When clicking through to the offer link for the BOGO 50% off deal, it was pricing out at $269 for June 2 and $285 for June 3 if booking those nights separately which, I’m assuming, is the standard rate. If booking those two nights together though, the average nightly price drops to $208.

Would these earn Hilton points or is that not setup yet?
