Nick I am glad you brought up how Jet Blue Mint looks like a great product but is far from it for families (at least with young children). I think this is a point often overlooked in considering what business class options are the best by most reviews and bloggers. Our family flew Hawaiian A330 business this summer and it was great for us to have an easily accessible seat next to our young daughter – but their hard product will usually suffer in recommendations because the privacy is less than ideal if you are a solo traveler. I avoided booking Jet Blue to Dublin for next year because I didn’t think a 7 hour flight with our kid on their own would go well, and your experience matches what us as parents were worried about!
