Music Credit – “Ocean Deep” by Annie Yoder

I was burned exactly as Nick described with the Resy credits. I had over $500 in gift cards at a local restaurant and they abruptly closed. I’ve tried a few avenues to contact them, but I haven’t gotten a response. Those gift cards are probably worthless. Even worse, the gift cards were only online, so when I try to check on their value the page doesn’t load.
This episode prompted me to be more serious about using my Resy credits. Between the $100 per quarter on Amex Platinum, $50 per 6 months on Amex Gold, and $10 per month on Delta Amex Platinum I always let some Resy credits go to waste, especially the monthly ones. But I’ve added purchasing $10 gift cards to my monthly to do list.
Now I’m just wondering what response I am going to get when we have a $300 meal and I give them 30x $10 gift cards.
If you’re buying online via Toast, you can go to the gc email and there should be a link to add more funds to that existing gc.
That’s a great tip! I’m going to try it.
