There’s another targeted Amex Offer for Hilton properties in the US and US Territories. However, in contrast to most Hilton Amex Offers that are limited to specific brands, this one is valid for almost the entire portfolio (except for Hilton Grand Vacations)…which makes it much more appealing.
The version that I have in my account is for $50 back on $250 in spend, but I have also seen mention of an even better version that gives $60 back on only $200.
The Deal
- Spend $250+ on room rate and room charges at Hilton brand properties in and get $50 back with a targeted Amex Offer.
- Expires 9/30/24
Key Terms
- Offer valid only at participating Hilton properties in the US and US territories.
- must be made online at US website Hilton.com, through the Hilton Honors app or by calling 1-800-445-8667.
- Offer does not apply to advance purchase rates, including Advance Purchase, Save Now & Pay and Non-refundable rates.
- Corporate Cards are not eligible for this offer.
- Excludes Hilton Grand Vacations Brand & gift card purchases. Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.
- Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date.

Quick Thoughts
I don’t remember the last time we saw such a widely-applicable Hilton Amex offer. The combination of being able to use it at almost any Hilton brand and having only a $250 spend threshold will make it useful for a lot of folks during the Summer travel season.
The offer will be most rewarding if you have any Hilton cards that were targeted. If you have the Hilton Aspire card, that would be the best option as you would also earn 14x on the Hilton spend. The Aspire card comes with a $200 twice per year towards stays at Hilton resorts and it should be possible to stack the resort credit with this Amex Offer. If you spend $250 on room rate and room charges, it might have a zero net cost ($250-$50 Amex Offer-$200 resort credit).
I say might as I don’t know for sure if they’ll stack when spending only $250. If American Express deducts the $200 resort credit first, there’s a chance they’ll regard this as spending $50 towards the Amex Offer. If that’s the case, you’d need to spend $450 in order to trigger both the statement credit and the Amex Offer. However, I suspect that’s not the case and that you could trigger both when spending only $250 (would love to hear DP’s on this if anyone’s tried it).
Any idea if the credit would apply to the SLH hotels that hilton just made a partnership with ? Also wondering if the $50 quarterly credit for the hilton amex would work at the SLH chain
I got $180 off $750 at Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and LXR… I assume this is the same kind of offer since its all Hilton brands or something totally different?
This offer only showed on my Surpass card, So, Im wondering if the $50 quarterly credit will stack with this offer.
Update… I did get both $50 for the promo and the $50 Quarterly credits. Also got the $60 Quarterly credit on the Business card, Also got $20 per day food credit. (and used some gift cards.) Good to these trips to clean house on all the credits. (GEEZ!)
I have an Aspire that I use heavily at Hilton properties for work trips and got the $80 off $400 this time. The way that offer and resort credits currently post on statements as processed two days after the charge date shows as processed (one day after check-out), I would think these would stack. About five years ago I stayed at a resort property on points, and spent enough on restaurants and the gift shop to be a few dollars over threshold for a $50 off $250 offer, and the offer plus resort credit stacked as expected (I remember in this much detail because I was not certain they would stack until I saw all the credits in the Amex app).
I got $80 off $400 and my wife got $60 off $300, both on Aspire cards.
damn, missing this on all my Amex cards. Have a +5 HH points on my hilton biz though
