Hilton Points Unlimited Promo: Earn 2,500 Bonus Points Per Stay (Jan 1-May 1, 2022)

Hilton has opened registration for their next Points Unlimited promotion that starts on January 1, 2022 and runs for four full months. For anyone booking award stays during that period you’ll be happy, but anyone booking paid stays will be disappointed at the low level of bonus points you’ll earn.

Quick Thoughts

This is a disappointing promotion from Hilton if you’ll be booking paid stays with them at the start of 2022, especially seeing as it’s running for four months. Hilton frequently runs promotions giving triple points on paid stays which works out to be an extra 20 points per dollar at most of their brands. That means that unless your paid stays from January 1 to May 1 cost $125 or less, you’ll earn fewer points under this new promotion than they would under their more common triple points promotion.

There are a couple of positive features about this promotion though. First, there’s no limit to the number of points you can earn from this promotion, hence its title as Points Unlimited.

Second, you’ll earn 2,500 bonus points even on award stays. While that’s not as generous as some past Hilton promotions where they offered 2,000 bonus points per night which was valid on both award and paid stays, it’s always good to see hotel promotions that offer bonus points even when you’re redeeming them as it reduces the net cost of your stay.
