Quick Thoughts

My wife and I stayed at Spirit Ridge Resort in Osoyoos, Canada recently which is part of Hyatt’s The Unbound Collection. I’ll be publishing a review of our stay in the next few weeks (spoiler alert: it was fantastic), but I wish this Amex Offer had been around a month ago. Between the hotel’s pet fee and some food and beverage charges, our bill came to ~$150. If we’d had this Amex Offer available, we might’ve treated ourselves a little more.

If you stay at a property overseas that’s part of The Unbound Collection, you might want to build in a little bit of a buffer to take into account exchange rate conversions. It would be a shame to think that you’ve spent $400 or more, only to find out that you’ve been charged $398.75 once the currency conversion has taken place and you miss out on the $100 statement credit.
