Visa Offers for Hyatt credit card holders have been sparse since they were launched back in April. A new offer’s just appeared giving $100 back on stays at Miraval Arizona when spending $500. Be quick though – it’ll only be around for two more weeks.
The Deal
- Spend $500 at Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa, get $100 back.
- Activation required – link to Hyatt Visa Offers login.
Key Terms
- Expires July 31, 2018.
- Limit 1 per activation/account.
- Valid only on a single transaction of $500 or more at Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa.
- Valid for in-store or online purchases.
- Not valid for gift card purchases.
Quick Thoughts
There are a few things that make this offer noteworthy. First of all, Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa is now part of the World of Hyatt family. People that got two free nights when applying for the old Hyatt credit card were able to use the certificates at this property which gave excellent value. If you’re one of those, this offer could save you money during your stay for any charges to your room if your stay’s in the next couple of weeks.
Secondly, there’s an ongoing promotion offering 50% off award stays and Points+ Cash stays. If you book a Points + Cash stay for double occupancy, the cash component is $550. With this offer you’d be able to save at least $100 – more if both of you have a Hyatt credit card and you’re staying 2+ nights.
Thirdly, seeing as Miraval is part of World of Hyatt, you should earn 3x when paying with the old Hyatt credit card or 4x when paying with the new World of Hyatt credit card. That’s even better than the perpetual Amex Offer for $100 back on $500 at Miraval seeing as in most cases you’d only earn 1x paying with an Amex card. Having said that, I think we’re currently in an alternative universe where there isn’t an existing Miraval Amex Offer.
The Hyatt/Visa Offers partnership is due to end on July 31, so you only have two weeks to take advantage of this statement credit. If your stay’s after July 31, you should be able to call and have them charge your card now.

anyone have experience with Boxed.com offer not posting? terms say not valid on Boxed.com/business and to my surprise, the visa coded as “BOXEDB2BSALES”. dont even know why it did that. will have to fight it.
also, something is going on. when i log in, all the offers have been removed. must be a glitch.
Yep, the same’s happened to me with the offers being removed. I agree that it must be a glitch as they’re still supposed to be available until the 31st.
As for the Boxed offer, I’ve not used this offer but it’s strange it coded as BOXEDB2BSALES. Did you happen to include any office supplies or anything like that within your order?
hey stephen. i can confirm a few things and a warning.
yes, there was a web glitch. it lasted a few hours and its OK now. during that time, i didnt make any purchases because I know from various portal experience that may cause a glitch. so I waited. Now everything seems to be working OK.
however, before the glitch, i made a boxed.com purchase. if ur ever interested, check to make sure your account is a STANDARD account vs a BUSINESS account. you can only tell via the color of your boxed screen. if its BLACK, its business. standard color is green. there is no “BUSINESS USER” header. simple enough, but I had forgot I signed up for boxed.com business awhile back. its a simple few clicks to sign up. thats why i had forgot. but that simple sign up changes the MCC from Boxed.com to BOXEDB2BSALES which disqualifies you for everything. do not do this. I had contacted boxed.com to change back my account to standard. the change was immediate.
then i had canceled my original business purchase and repurchased with my standard account. this worked ASAP. the Hyatt CC tracked immediately as the normal Boxed.com via the website and I got emails ASAP. this means BOXEDB2BSALES does NOT qualify. i am actually impressed how fast Hyatt visa tracked. all my purchases tracked ASAP.
hope this helps others.
Ah, that makes sense – I’m glad you were able to get it resolved.
