Hyatt Ziva & Zilara Chase Offer

Quick Thoughts

This offer might only be targeted at Chase Hyatt credit cardholders because my wife and I both had the offer on our Hyatt cards but no others.

In case you’re not familiar with Hyatt’s Ziva and Zilara brands, they’re all-inclusive resorts. Hyatt Ziva properties are family-friendly, while Hyatt Zilara properties are adults-only.

This Chase Offer is an excellent deal if you’ll be staying at one of these two brands because it’s good on up to $2,700 of spend. With both Ziva and Zilara being all-inclusives, they don’t come cheap and so the fact that you can earn up to $270 back as a statement credit could be very useful.

Even if you’re booking a Hyatt Ziva or Zilara stay using points, some activities and spa treatments come at a cost, so you could charge those to your room to save 10% by using this offer as those would no doubt come to at least $100.

On my Sapphire & Hyatt. I activated both offers. I’m staying in April and got a no deposit offer this summer. They usually require full prepay (refundable until last min) so I’ll split the stay on both cards.

I received the offer on my Sapphire Preferred card. I don’t have a Hyatt card although I do have a World of Hyatt account. We stayed at Hyatt Zilara for five nights a few weeks ago using 125,000 Hyatt points. It was a very good value but my least favorite of three all inclusives we have stayed at. Apparently it was the rainy season in Jamaica because it showered every day. Warm and humid so it didn’t matter. However, how could the bars be out of fresh bananas and tonic water?

Robert

Saw this on both my Freedom cards, Freedom Unlimited, and WOH cards… Now to decide if it’s worth prepaying for since I’ve got a week at Christmas already scheduled…

Sean

Can my stay be after 1/15? Do I just need to prepay before then?

Dee

I got the offer on both my Hyatt and Freedom Unlimited.

Hoping for another drug cartel attack and free 75,000 points.
Will hide out with Cave Dweller.

I loved these places until I stopped drinking and went on a diet. Can they turn into a wellness resort?

In addition, they are offering a free bullet proof vest rental with all stays of 4 or more nights.

Do you have any clarification on the cancelation policy for the Ziva’s? They are all showing: Deposit Policy Credit Card Deposit Required 4 NIGHT(S) DEPOSIT WILL BE CHARGED TO CREDIT CARD Cancellation Policy Full Non-refundable Deposit Due 14d Before Arrival

Does this mean the 4-night deposit is refundable up until 14d prior? Or is the deposit not refundable?

Buzz

I got the offer on my Hyatt, Sapphire Reserve and Freedom Unlimited cards.
