IHG targeted promo: Earn double elite night credits on up to 10 nights

IHG is targeting some IHG One Rewards members with an offer giving double elite night credits.

Key Terms

• The “Up to 10 Bonus Elite Night Credits” promotional offer (the “Offer”) provides you with an opportunity to earn one “Bonus Elite Night Credit” for each Offer-Qualifying Room Night stayed during the Offer Period, up to a maximum of ten (10) Bonus Elite Night Credits.
• For each “Bonus Elite Night Credit” you earn under the Offer, you will be credited with an additional Elite Qualifying Night for purposes of determining Elite membership status and Milestone Rewards earned under the IHG One Rewards program in 2025.
• “Bonus Elite Night Credits” do not qualify as Rollover Nights or as Qualifying Nights for any other purpose or benefit under the IHG One Rewards program.
• To participate in this Offer, you must be an IHG One Rewards member and must be invited to participate. After receiving an invitation, you must register your member number in advance in order to be eligible for the Offer.
• The “Offer Period” is from Ja‍nua‍ry 2‍7, 2‍0‍2‍5,‍ through ‍A‍p‍r‍i‍l‍ 2‍2,‍ 2‍0‍2‍5.‍
• To be an “Offer-Qualifying Room Night” under this Offer, the room night must fall within the Offer Period and must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay. As noted above, the “Offer Period” is from ‍Jan‍uar‍y 2‍7, ‍2‍0‍2‍5‍, through ‍A‍p‍r‍i‍l‍ ‍2‍2,‍ 2‍0‍2‍5.‍ Room nights outside of the Offer Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Offer also are not included.
• For purposes of this Offer, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local equivalent) per night.
• Participating hotels include all IHG Hotels & Resorts, with the exception of those Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that do not participate in the IHG One Rewards program.
• Stays booked using Reward Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Offer.
• Bookings made through on-line travel agencies or other reservation sites such as b‍o‍o‍k‍i‍n‍g‍.‍c‍o‍m or e‍x‍ped‍i‍a‍.‍c‍o‍m also do not qualify under this Offer.
• If more than one member who registered for the Offer checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn Bonus Elite Night Credits under this Offer based on those nights that qualify. If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will only receive credit towards this Offer for only one of the rooms that also meets the requirements of an Offer-Qualifying Room Night.

Quick Thoughts

If you’ve been targeted for this promotion, it’s worth registering just in case you end up booking any paid stays with IHG during the offer period. It’s hard to get overly enthused about this offer though seeing as Marriott is offering a double elite nights credit promo that’s a) not targeted and b) also throws in 1,000 bonus points per night.

One way that this promo stands out versus the Marriott promo though is that IHG One Rewards offers Milestone Rewards and the bonus elite night credits earned from this offer count towards those. Milestone Rewards start at 20 elite night credits, with one of those options being a Confirmable Suite Upgrade. That means that a targeted member staying just 10 paid nights with IHG during the promo period would enable them to earn a Suite Upgrade which is a pretty good opportunity for someone who’ll be able to actually redeem it.

Don’t forget that IHG has a separate double points promotion (albeit only after your first stay) that’ll stack with this targeted offer, so make sure you register for both if you’re eligible.
