Benefits on the consumer version of the US Bank Altitude Connect card are slated to change in September, but the US Bank Business Altitude Connect card is not slated to see the same changes. Further, we’re seeing an increased bonus available on the business version of the card as it is now possible to get a bonus of 75,000 points after $6,000 in purchases within the first 180 days. That’s a nice long spending window that should put this bonus within reach for a business of almost any size.

Quick Thoughts
A bonus of $750 on $6,000 in purchases represents 12.5% back, and that’s before considering the return on spend on those $6K in purchases. This card offers 4x on travel, gas, and EV charging stations for the first $150K in combined annual spend (and 2x on dining, takeout, delivery and cell service providers), so I imagine that many people will be able to meet at least some chunk of the spend at a respectable category bonus.
Given the six-month opening spend window, it shouldn’t be terribly difficult for most to meet the spending requirements. You’d need to spend just $1,000 per month to hit the spending requirement.
Long-term, this card probably only makes sense for someone who prefers a cash equivalent type of points and who spends a very large amount on travel and gas or EV charging.
The 75K bonus points here could certainly make the card worth an initial look, but keep in mind that you can not combine these points with those earned on an Altitude Reserve card, so the points are only worth $0.01 each.
Still, this is a nice bonus on a card that has some use case depending on your other options for gas station and travel spend.

Does anyone have an updated link for the Altitude Connect Business Card?
Sorry I missed this — I’ve updated with a working link.
Ugh, what is rumored to be changing on the consumer altitude reserve? No more priority pass restaurants? Come on, some of us live with a lounge dessert at our airports!
Nothing on the Altitude Reserve — I mentioned that there are changes coming to the consumer version of THIS card (in other words, the consumer Altitude Connect). Funny enough though, no change to Priority pass access:

You mentioned we can’t combine these altitude points with altitude reserve.
Can any card’s points be combined with altitude reserve?
Let’s say I cancel but have points left. I think I must use or lose them and there’s no other option. Is that right? Thanks
Nevermind. I see you answered on another post. Maybe it’s simpler to just say no cards can combine points with altitude reserve.
Anyone have any luck getting US bank to honor the higher sign up bonus? Applied 1/31 and I figure it’s a longshot.
FYI I have this card and the 4 Priority Pass visits still include Restaurants.
Are the points transferable to airlines and which ones?
2. Can you get this card in Canada or do you have to have an American bank?
3. What is the annual fee
1) No. US Bank doesn’t have transferable points and never has on any of their cards. Points are worth $0.01 per point.
2) I have no idea what the process is for Canadians to get US credit cards, sorry!
3) The annual fee information is in bold print under the welcome offer below the heading “The Offer & Key Card Details”. There, you’ll see it says:
So, to be clear, the annual fee is $95 but they waive that for the first year.
Thanks Nick for your prompt reply.
Nick, I have a US Bank business account, personal checking and personal connect card. Do you see any issues adding this business connect card?
What kind of an “issue” would you anticipate?
No, I wouldn’t anticipate any problem. Most issuers allow you to have multiple credit cards with them. Of course one never knows about approval, but it’s not a problem to hold more than one US Bank card. To my knowledge, there is no known limit to the number of US Bank cards one can have.
I’ll add though that you might want to also consider the Business Leverage card as that card is currently offering $900 back with $7500 spend, albeit in 4 months instead of 6: https://frequentmiler.com/900-back-with-new-us-bank-business-leverage-card-offer-after-7500-spend/
Nick,
I wasn’t sure about issues. live in Florida. I had opened the personal connect card for the bonus, but mainly to give me access to the business and personal checking account bonuses. US Bank doesn’t have a footprint in Florida so now I’ve established a relationship. I did all three of those accounts within a three day period about two weeks ago. I recently also opened the new Wells Fargo Autograph Journey for the bonus. I could easily do the $6,000 over 6 months. Thank you for the quick reply.
@Nick Reyes, this card also comes with 4 Priority Pass visits which can be used at lounges / restaurants / experiences 🙂
