This deal coincides perfectly with the JCPenney Amex Offer giving a $10 credit with a $50+ purchase. That offer expires on 12/31/15. If you visit a store and pay for $100 worth of gift cards with 2 Amex cards linked to the offer, you will receive $100 in gift cards plus a $25 off $25 coupon for $80. Note: purchasing e-gift cards online will not trigger the Amex Offer since those are sold by Cashstar.

hmmmmm…… not impressed with this one, esp. when I saw avg. resale value on JCPenney cards presently (about 25% off — if you’re lucky) Only had the amex offer on 1 out of 6 of family amex cards anyway. Be lucky then to break-even with this deal — after a lot of work, and going to store.
do a lot better just with regular jcpenney coupon promotions that come by email.
I did used this offer 2 weeks back by using my 2 amex cards. This is excellent offer. Spent $100 and got $25 as coupon and $20 from amex.
And I used $25 to purchase an item. So overall $45 is free. And I am waiting for jcppenny to open $10 off on $25+ purchase to get maximum benefit from my $100 gift card.
So they can split $100 into two $50 transactions? They always let me buy $50 first, then the other $50
Geez,,,did anyone read the list of exclusions on the $25 off $25 coupon?! Pretty much excludes the WHOLE store! What a joke!
Was just instore and they told me only works on JCP gift cards. Bought $100 of third party gift cards and they didn’t give it to me.
