Quick Thoughts
The number of routes that this award sale is valid for is somewhat limited. For example, if you’re flying out of Richmond, VA, the only eligible route is up to Boston, not Fort Lauderdale or Orlando which JetBlue also offers nonstop service to.
Still, this sale can result in some decent award pricing if you do find eligible routes and dates. For example, you can fly transcontinental from San Diego to New York from only 8,600 TrueBlue points.
The lowest award pricing is for a Blue fare which includes free seat selection and a free carry on. Unfortunately Mint fares aren’t eligible for this sale.
If you find a flight that meets your needs, you’ll need to book quickly as the sale ends tonight (October 9). If you don’t have a sufficient JetBlue points balance, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards or Citi ThankYou points on a 1:1 basis, as well as from American Express Membership Rewards on an inferior 250:200 basis.
