There’s another new (targeted) Amex Offer for lodging that became available today: Spend $300+ at Kimpton hotels, get $60 back. This could potentially stack with a portal payout for a nice return if you were already planning a Kimpton stay.

The Deal

  • Spend $300 or more at Kimpton hotels ins the US, get $60 back

Key Terms

  • Expires 10/14/18
  • Only valid at Kimpton Hotels in the US
  • Excludes other IHG brands
  • Not valid for purchases at restaurants, kimptonstyle.com or IHG Rewards club point purchases
  • Excludes gift card purchases

Quick Thoughts

Saving 20% on a Kimpton stay is a pretty good deal provided that they have the best rate for your stay.

The terms state that reservations must be made at Kimptonhotels.com, though in practice I imagine that reservations made at IHG.com ought to trigger the offer. Assuming that’s the case, you’ll want to stack with a portal payout. This morning, Stephen wrote about a shopping portal promo from American Airlines whereby you could earn as many as 7.29 AA miles per dollar on an IHG booking (See: American Airline Shopping Portal: Earn Up To 1,500 Bonus Miles). That would be a nice payout on top of this offer.

Just be sure to keep in mind that this is only valid for Kimpton hotels in the US and you must pay for your stay by 10/14/18.
