Why Kroger, you spoil us. With the holiday season coming up, they’ve released a couple of new digital coupons that offer 4x fuel points on both third party gift cards and fixed-value Visa and Mastercard gift cards. Unlike their most recent 4x coupons that only lasted three days, these will be valid until December 10, 2019 which gives plenty of time to rack up the points, especially leading up to Black Friday.

The Deal

Key Terms

  • Expires December 10, 2019.
  • Variable load Visa & Mastercard gift cards excluded.

Quick Thoughts

Kroger fuel points can be used to save money on up to 35 gallons of gas, so the third party gift cards digital coupon can save you up to 14% on gas. While you can get larger discounts for some brands by buying second-hand from sites like Raise, this can be an excellent return for higher value brands like Amazon, Best Buy, etc. that don’t tend to be discounted as much. That’s especially helpful given the Black Friday deals that’ll be around in a couple of weeks.

The fixed-value Visa and Mastercard gift cards work out in a different way due to their activation fees. Provided you can fill up with 14 gallons or more though, you’ll come out ahead when buying the $100 Visa or Mastercard gift cards.
