(EXPIRED) Lowe’s Amex Offer: Spend $200 & Get $50 Back (targeted)

There’s a very good Amex Offer for Lowe’s that appeared a couple of days ago. It’s the perfect time of year to drop a couple of Benjamins at home supply stores, so check your cards in case you were targeted for it.

Quick Thoughts

This seems to be a widely-targeted offer; I had it on all my Membership Rewards-earning business cards. Most Lowe’s Amex Offers in recent years seem to have primarily been available on business cards, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the same again here. Still, it’s worth checking your personal cards just in case you were targeted on one of those.

Many people will have no problem spending $200 organically at Lowe’s over the holidays. If you don’t need to make a purchase there, there’s still an easy way that you can get good value from the offer.

Lowe’s stores have a gift card rack with all kinds of third party gift cards, as well as Visa and Mastercard gift cards. You could therefore spend $200 on gift cards to lock in the 25% discount from this offer. Note that gift card purchases online are excluded, so only do this if going in store.
