Lufthansa has 4+ available seats in business class from US-Germany all Summer

10

Lufthansa currently has multiple seats of business class award availability for direct flights from Denver to Munich almost every day between 6/1/25 and 9/30/25. View from the Wing was the first to flag this and notes that this is on Lufthansa’s new A380 superjumbo aircraft, which has 78 business class seats – a heckuva lot of capacity between Denver and Munich.

Availability seems to start in May and go all the way through the end of September and is wide open almost every single day of the week in July, August and September. Although the transatlantic flight is DEN – MUC, it’s possible to add connecting flights to other destinations on either side…although on the US side that assumes you can find saver space on United to Denver, which can be tough.

Summer routes to Europe don’t come open with this many seats very often and even one or two can be hard to find. So, if you want it, book it soon.

The Deal

  • Business class awards on Lufthansa are wide open between Denver and Munich with 4+ seats available most dates between May 1 and September 30, 2025
    • Many connecting cities pricing as saver awards as well
  • These can be booked one of several ways (prices are each-way):

Quick Thoughts

Premium cabin award availability to Europe can be hard to come in mid-Summer so having several weeks of multi-seat availability isn’t common

Here’s the availability as of writing between DEN and MUC for 4 seats on United.com (88K dates are saver space) throughout the Summer. Most or these dates should be bookable via Aeroplan or Avianca as well:

Lufthansa isn’t known for having the best business class product in the world, even on these newish A380s. The cabins are in 2-2-2 configurations, which means that the window seats don’t have direct aisle access. That said, when you can fly a family of six, it’s still a win. If you’re interested in booking with multiple passengers, do it ASAP to lock in the dates you want.

Lee

No thanks.

Casey

Nice! Booked!

Even less than 69k via lifemiles if you add an economy connection

i do not see them for any days in May – checked United and Aeroplan

Andy

80k here also. Paid the premium for United vs. Aeroplan/Avianca for flexibility.

Thank you!

Just a few years back Lufthansa business was the backup plan as availability was plentiful (at least to JFK/EWR) any time of year. Sad how much premium availability has shrunk across the industry.

patrick

I’m actually seeing these going for 80,000 instead of the 88,000.

Stockton

That’s probably because of the united cardholder discount.

Patrick

Well finally a practical use for the card.
