Quick Thoughts
With digital gift cards, waived purchase fees mean that you don’t pay any fees at all. With physical gift cards, you’re still on the hook for shipping fees which can affect the profitability of this deal, although physical cards might be easier for you to liquidate than digital cards.
Don’t buy these with an Amex card because not only will you not earn points/miles/cashback, but you could also be hit with a cash advance fee. I’m not aware of any other bank that does that for MastercardGiftCard.com, but let us know in the comments if you encounter that with a different bank.

Has anyone gotten an order through? Tried 1000 and then 500 and both declined. All info correct and was sending it to myself.

Any idea what the problem could be?
How frequently do these deals come around, and is there an option to get Visa cards? I have a sign up bonus that is due in about a month, and a relatively low cost way to liquidate (property tax authority has low processing fees for Visa debit cards but not for MCs). I would like to hold out for a Visa version of this offer.
