Chase has come out with an interesting new offer on the Marriott Boundless Card. New applicants receive a $150 statement after the first purchase on the card as well as an additional 100,000 points after spending $3,000 on the card with the first 3 months.
There’s also a concurrent offer for the no annual fee Bonvoy Bold card that gives 60K points and a 50K free night certificate after spending $2k that some folks may find more appealing.

Quick Thoughts
Chase has rolled out an interesting spectrum of welcome offers on the Boundless card over the last few year couple of years using a combination of points, free night certificates, statement credits and/or gift cards
Based on the current Reasonable Redemption Value for Marriott points of 0.7 cents each, 100,000 Bonvoy points are worth ~$700, adding the statement credit leads to a total value of ~$850 less the first year annual fee.

On Marriot website the link (https://www.marriott.com/credit-cards/chase-credit-cards.mi) shows Boundless with 3 free nights and letting to apply. Curious if the 3 free nights will be given or the new offer of 100K + $150.
You’ll get the offer shown, so if you apply for the 3 nights version, that’s the one that you’ll get. That was the previous main public offer, but it’s still showing in some places.
Inside “The Offer & Key Card Details” section, your offer states “Earn100K free night certificates…”, this should read “Earn 100K points…”.
Do you think this new offer is better than the recent offer for (3) 50k free night certificates?
It is neither better nor worse. It is all in how you like to use your points and travel.
If you know of a specific hotel that you’re probably going to be staying at in the next year and it usually goes for around 50K points, or if you know that you’ll be traveling abroad in the next where you can often get much better award pricing that in the US, then the 50K cert offer is probably better. For what it’s worth, I’d hold out for the (5) 50K cert offer that comes around at least once a year rather than the go for the (3) 50K cert offer.
However, if you have no immediate plans to stay at a Marriot, or you typically like to use your Marriott points for high-end properties that go for well above 50K-65K per night (the highest end properties now top out at 120K -150K per night, and most high-end properties in the luxury category typically go for at least 100K per night) then this is the better offer as it will allow you to travel the way you like and not limit you to lower-end properties or force you to possibly use your certs for poor value.
This game is all completely subjective. Think about how offers would work for you personally.
