Doctor of Credit has reported that PayPal has eliminated its BillPay services. According to comments on the post, it sounds like the service was ended as of 2/28/26.
I haven’t seen any official announcement about this from PayPal, so it isn’t clear whether this is a temporary or permanent change. However, when I go to the Bill Pay landing page, it says that it isn’t available for consumer accounts.
I believe that PayPal has taken down its BillPay services before and then brought them back later, but this time might be the end of BillPay, as the options that could be paid with it had been dwindling for some time.

My PayPal was taken over around 4 years ago and I have not been able to use it and never received a new card. But I received bills that needed to be paid in my name. PayPal is the worst. They took what funds I had in there and still are continuing to use my account. I called over and over to the main PayPal office and just got the run around.
I put 70.00 dollars on PayPal. Well low behold. Never received it. I reicpts showing. Called the so call big boys. Nothing they can do about it. Ya I’m hoping they enjoyed the 70.00. shame on them. Yes PayPal finely paying for it. Theives.
PayPal pissed me off about 10 years ago. I made a purchase and never received it. My credit card was processed through PayPal using my bank Visa and by the time I noticed it was to late I was told. I lost over 9,632.00 Thousand dollars. And I’ll never be able to pay it off since I’m disabled now in a wheelchair for life on S.S.I. and have MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS and white brain matter disease. I really hope the person or group was caught but I’ll never get my money back Again Thank you for nothing PayPal

They add stuff to your account then they bill you for something they put on your account and then they want you to pay for it

Sadly, never had the option for PP Billpay for most of our reoccurimg bills but only one has recently started charging a CC fee.
Thankfully – only property taxes charged 2.75% (but worth it for the extra SUBs)
Our Municipal Water just started charging a percentage for using a CC -VGC/MCGC.
They removed everything of value already, so it wasn’t useful anymore. I even checked to see if I could pay my T-Mobile bill to get around the new autopay discount restrictions, but that was even gone.
