Giving Assistant is offering “up to 75% cash back” on your first UberEats order. It’s a little unclear as to what what qualifies for 75% back (apart from the fact that it must be your first order), but it might be worth a shot if you’ve never ordered from UberEats.

The Deal

Quick Thoughts

This might be a great deal. My experiences with Giving Assistant have always been positive, but this deal is sufficiently vague to not be 100% confident that it will pan out. I can’t find specific terms explaining what determines whether or not you get 75% cash back. Giving Assistant has two tiers — “Savvy Shopper” and “Power User”. If you chose “Power User”, you must give up $5.99 per year of your cash back earnings and in return you can earn double cash back at select merchants. To change your setting, go to My Account–>Account Settings—>Membership. You can then change the type of membershipp as pictured below.

This may be what they mean by “up to 75% cash back” — it may be 37.5% without that. It is also possible that not all orders qualify for 75% back, but I don’t see any terms with more detail on what they mean.

Still, this might be worth a gamble if you can accept the risk of the unknown. I’m currently in an area that does not have UberEats, so I can’t immediately test this one. However, I’ll be in New York next week for FTU NYC, so I might give this one a shot then if it’s still available as I’ve never ordered from UberEats before (it’s not available in my home area and I typically use GrubHub / Caviar out of habit when traveling). Uber credits from the personal versions of the Amex Platinum card have also been working with UberEats, so there is a nice stacking opportunity possible.
