Quick Thoughts
I’ve been meaning to download the Rakuten app for a while because I’d seen that they periodically offer better rates in the app than they do via their website, so I’ve finally gotten around to doing that.
They’re offering 10%/10x at several different retailers today which includes Under Armour, Finish Line, Carter’s and more, but 12x at Best Western is perhaps the most notable deal here. Other than a week back in May when the Rakuten website offered 15%/15x and a couple of days (also in May) when TopCashback offered 20% cashback, 12x is the highest we’ve seen on Best Western stays in the last 15 months.
This can stack nicely with Best Western’s latest promotion which offers 5,000 bonus points per night for three nights or a $20 bonus card per night for five nights depending on which offer you register for.
This offer ends tonight (Sunday July 18), so there’s not much time to take advantage of this increased rate cashback/Membership Rewards rate if you’re interested.
