Rakuten is out with its latest promotion offering booster portal rewards, with many popular stores offering as much as 15x through today only (7/7/25).

- Shopping portal Rakuten is offering a “Big Stack” event with many popular stores offering boosted rewards rates through 7/7/25. As a reminder, you can choose to earn rewards through Rakuten as either Membership Rewards points (i.e. up to 15x Membership Rewards points per dollar spent) or cash back (up to 15% back).

We frequently see boosted shopping portal rates around popular shopping periods. With Amazon’s Prime Day Sales set to begin tomorrow, it is no surprise to see many stores offering increased rewards this week to compete.
A number of popular travel brands are included this time around. For instance, you could earn 14 Amex Membership Rewards points per dollar spent at Best Western, 10x at IHG, or 15x on bookings at Viator.
Keep in mind that clicking through from Rakuten takes you to these websites to book directly, so you’ll still earn hotel rewards, elite night credit, and elite benefits when booking direct through IHG or Best Western (if you instead choose a 3rd party site like Hotels.com or Expedia, you wouldn’t earn those hotel rewards).
Overall, these are certainly some good rates if you were already shopping, especially if you can stack with card-linked offers. Check Savewise or Cardpointers for further stacking opportunities.
