Red Roof Inn has launched a new promotion which has the potential to be nicely rewarding if you’re happy staying at their brands because they’re offering enough bonus points for a free night after staying twice in the promotion period.
The Deal
- Stay twice at Red Roof properties & earn 7,000 bonus points.
- Direct link to registration.
Key Terms
- A stay is defined as consecutive nights at the same hotel regardless of check-ins or outs.
- A stay only applies from the date of member’s registration in the Rest + Repeat promotion and can be completed across the Red Roof family of hotels: Red Roof Inn, Red Roof PLUS+, The Red Collection and HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof.
- Third party bookings are not eligible.
- Must be paid stays.
- Must book online through redroof.com or hometownestudios.com, by calling 1-800-RED-ROOF or 1-877-EXTENDED, or by contacting the hotel directly.
- Offer valid May 28, 2021 – September 7, 2021.
- Must be a RediRewards member to participate.
- Member’s account will be awarded 7,000 points once the 2nd stay is completed.
- While most transactions will post within 48 hours after check out, allow up to two weeks for the 7,000 points to be issued.
Quick Thoughts
Yes, Red Roof isn’t the most aspirational of brands, but I’ve stayed with them a couple of times in the past and they were perfectly fine for the price we paid. They’re one of the only pet-friendly chains that also doesn’t charge a pet fee, so they can be useful if you’re traveling with a pet and just want a cheap and quick overnight stop.
Those particular types of stays are particularly useful with this promotion seeing as two stays of one night will earn you 7,000 bonus points. Red Roof has a flat redemption rate of 7,000 points for any property which is why this promotion is being marketed as a free night.
There does appear to be a slight exception to the 7,000 point redemption because The Red Collection properties (seemingly their “boutique” affiliated brand) can cost more. However, there are only two The Red Collection hotels, so those bonus points will still get you a free night at the vast majority of their properties.
Be sure to check reviews online though because some Red Roof properties have pretty poor ratings, although I’ve seen many with ratings of 7 to 8 out of 10. You can also click through from a shopping portal to earn cashback – find the current rates here and here.
