The Deal

Key Terms

  • Expires February 22, 2020.
  • Limit 1 of each coupon per household.

Quick Thoughts

Both of these digital coupons are profitable as the $15 and $10 instant discounts more than offset the activation fees. As always, be sure to pay with a credit card that earns more at grocery stores. The Citi Dividend and Discover It cards are both offering 5% cashback at grocery stores this quarter, so those are a good option if you’ve not maxed out their limits already.

Citi Dividend for 5%

Jason

Can I take advantage of these at both Safeway and Albertsons or is it one or the other

Creditian

You can create as many accounts as you want as long as they have different phone numbers/emails.

MalMel

Don’t forget Amex Gold is 4X on groceries always.

Can you provide the Albertsons link?

What is the Albertsons gas reward max I can earn for one month? Is it $1, no limit?

Brent

Has anyone tried to get 2 x $500 VGC instead of 2 x $100? Wanted to see if the credit still kicks in at the register.

ABC

I’d like to know that too, but I’m guessing most likely not. It’s a pain to liquidate the $50 VGCs and even the $100 VGCs.

Brent

Have you tried to liquidate at Walmart? I have also liquidated VGC at Albertsons.

ABC

Walmarts near me take only bank issued debit cards for MOs, won’t take VGCs. Believe me I’ve tried. Never tried Albertson’s. I have options, but trying to use multiple $50 and $100 VGCs to purchase MOs is a PITA.
