Update 3/11/19: According to a reader report, the coupon emailed for this deal now shows an expiration date of April 21, 2019, so this deal is alive again.
Update 2/2/19: Dosh is only offering $20 cashback on the $100 membership, so this deal will be a $19 profit for as long as that’s the case.
Sam’s Club is offering $45 off your first order when buying a $45 membership. That’s a good deal if you’re in the market for a Sam’s Club membership, but you can make a $39 profit by stacking with a few other offers.

Quick Thoughts
This effectively works out to be a free membership with very few hoops to jump through. All you need to do is enter your email address on the landing page provided above and purchase a $45 membership once you receive the offer email. The landing page refers to their Scan & Go feature, but you don’t have to use that in order to get the $45 off your first transaction.
There are a few important things to note. First, you’ll be enrolled in Auto Renewal. This can be turned off in your online account, so remember to do that if you won’t want to keep the membership after the first year. You have to spend $45 or more on your first order to trigger the discount, plus if you have to return any item(s), they’ll take into account the discount you’d received.
Profit
Now for the even better part – making this deal profitable. You should be able to stack three offers to make a $39 $19 profit:
- $9 through TopCashback
- TCB is currently offering 20% back when buying a Sam’s Club membership. Once you’ve received the email from Sam’s Club, click through to Sam’s Club from TopCashback, then copy and paste the URL from the email. That should ensure you earn the $9 cashback.
$20 through DoshDosh is offering $20 when buying a Sam’s Club membership. Make sure you link your credit card to Dosh first. If you’re new to Dosh, here’s my referral link. You’ll get $5 when signing up and linking your first card and I’ll earn $5 as well.
- $10 through Acorns
- Acorns is offering $10 in Found Money when purchasing a Sam’s Club membership. Similar to Dosh, you have to link your credit card before paying for the membership in order for it to track.
- If you’re new to Acorns, feel free to use one of our referral codes with our thanks – you’ll get $5 as will we when you invest at least $5:
- Acorns is offering $10 in Found Money when purchasing a Sam’s Club membership. Similar to Dosh, you have to link your credit card before paying for the membership in order for it to track.
By the end of it, you should end up with $45 off your first order plus $39 $19 cashback.

Not seeing the 20% back on TopCashBack.
Yep, the 20% rate isn’t there right now, but you can still earn 7% with TopCashback, $10 with Acorns and you should be able to get $20 from Dosh when paying online with a linked card.

Looks like the $20 back from DOSH is for $100 Sams membership only.
Thank you – I’ve updated the post to reflect this.
There’s also a $10 (some people are reporting $15 on DoC) e-coupon on the landing page when you click through from the email. Also see his post for a link to the “Sam’s Club Treasure Hunt” for more freebies with new membership.
I am moving away from TopCashBack. Every single click-thru with them requires follow up. Over the holidays, because one supposed to be worth around $25 with Alamo (car rental) didn’t (as usual) track, I emailed them and was told ‘tough luck, bud’ because Alamo doesn’t respond to cashback requests. I also have open issues with them over Choice hotels, Naked Wine, and World Market. Their clicks never track correctly, and I have to remember to ‘put in a cashback claim’ every time. Plus, now, with their decision simply to say ‘too bad’ with regard to Alamo, what’s to stop them from using that bait-and-switch (more like bait-and-screw) with other merchants.
I plan use them no more, get what I can from them up to this point, and swear them off. I recommend everyone reading this do the same. Something is wrong at TopCashBack.
are you using adblocker or similar? the tracking won’t work if you are, you’ll need to shop in an incognito window. That fixed the issue for me.
I had the same thing w/ national, I’d rent every week and would make sense. But after spending WAY too much time for $5 ans STILL not getting it, I boycott topbashNeverReceive. They’re garbage imo.
I’m not seeing it, but maybe I have missed it. There is usually a thing that says you cannot have been a member in the last 6 months. Did anyone see that this time?
Don’t count on the Acorns or Dosh stack- neither worked for me last time their was a membership offer..
Can you explain this?
“click through to Sam’s Club from TopCashback, then copy and paste the URL from the email.”
When you click the link provided above, you’ll be taken to a landing page for this offer where you have to enter your email address. Sam’s Club will then send you an email which you follow to sign up for the offer.
To get cashback from TopCashback, you’ll need to click through from TopCashback, then copy and paste the link they send you in the email. That should ensure the cashback gets tracked while simultaneously signing up for this $45 discount offer.
Idid not get a specific link in the email, do you mean clicking “join online” or copying the “join online” URL and pasting into the browser after TCB has opened a Sam’s session?
Yes, copy the ‘Join Online’ link in the email and paste it into your browser having already clicked through to Sam’s Club from TCB.
Got it, thx!
I have the same question as Lee. Can I join online and have my purchases delivered?
Yep – one of the terms is ‘Eligible products are regularly priced items sold in-club or online at and by SamsClub.com’
