Amazon is offering the Sonos Beam sound bar for $299. According to CamelCamelCamel.com, that’s the lowest price ever on that item. However, you can save a few bucks more if ordering via Adorama thanks to a current Amex Offer that’s good for $25 back / 2,500 Membership Rewards points when you spend $25 or more.
The Deal
- Both Amazon and Adorama currently have the Sonos Beam on sale. The deal is a bit better at Adorama if you have the current Amex Offer, but it could potentially be better at Amazon if you still have one of the offers available to save when using 1 point to pay.
- Our affiliate links:
- Sonos Beam on Amazon for $299
- Sonos Beam on Adorama for $319 (less the Amex Offer).
Quick Thoughts
I’m not terribly familiar with Sonos equipment apart from the constant hype I see for it in ads. However, I recently visited a friend who had a Sonos speaker in his living room and it certainly sounded pretty good given the size of the speaker. I have no idea if this Sonos Beam is any good, but it’ll surely be popular with Sonos fans.
As noted at the top, I took a look at the Amazon price history via CamelCamelCamel.com and I see that the current $299 price there (our affiliate link) is the lowest ever.
However, you can do a bit better at Adorama. While Adorama is charging $319 for the same item, there is a current Amex Offer for Adorama that I noted in this post about a great lens on sale. You’ll need to log in to your Amex account to see if you are targeted and whether you have the version that gives $25 back on a purchase of $250 or more or 2,500 points on that purchase. Either way, it makes the Sonos Beam a slightly better deal at Adorama.
That is, of course, unless you have one of the various Amazon deals available like a discount when using at least 1 Membership Rewards point or 1 cent of Discover cash back or the current Amex Offer for a bonus 4x at Amazon.
H/T: Slickdeals
for a unknown reason, Adorama still does not charge sale tax… at least for Washington state. So that’s $30 additional saving right there vs. ordering from Amazon.
