Southwest has launched a new sale, this time offering up to 30% off base fares when using promo code DREAMBIG. This is valid on travel from January 26 through May 13 (with some blackout dates), but you only have until Thursday January 8 to make your reservations.

Quick Thoughts
Based on the searches I’ve done with this promo code, it looks like the up to 30% discount is only being applied when booking in Southwest’s Basic or Choice fare types, not Choice Preferred or Choice Extra. There doesn’t seem to be anything in the terms and conditions excluding those fare types though, so perhaps those do get discounted on some routes/dates.
As always with these kinds of Southwest promo codes, if you find eligible routes that are discounted for cash pricing, the award pricing will be discounted too in case you’d rather book with Rapid Rewards points.

LOL I don’t see a single “deal” with this sale. What a sad state of affairs Southwest has become.
(For example, the Denver-Colorado Springs route commonly had $49 flights each way; the cheapest Basic fare with DREAMBIG is now $135 each way)
