The Swych app is offering a 5% discount when purchasing a gift card worth up to $50 and using promo code GIVETHANKS. Note that the code is only valid on gifts you send rather than purchasing for yourself, but it’s easy to work around that stipulation.
The Deal
- Send a gift card using the Swych app and save 5% when using promo code GIVETHANKS.
- Steps to use the deal:
- Select ‘Send’ and choose a friend from your contacts list and, if prompted, select their mobile number and tap ‘Next’.

- Apply promo code GIVETHANKS and check out.
Key Terms
- Expires November 22, 2018, at 11:59 pm.
- Limit one per customer.
Quick Thoughts
A 5% discount isn’t particularly exciting, especially with a $50 limit seeing as the maximum amount you’ll save is $2.50. However, they have some brands you won’t tend to get at a great discount elsewhere such as Best Buy, Acorns, American Airlines, Airbnb, Delta, Uber, etc.
As mentioned above, the promo code only works when sending a gift card to someone else. However, if you have more than one cellphone in your household, it’s easy to apply this code for personal use.
For those of you with a Chase Ink Plus or Ink Cash card, Swych codes as 5x/5% when paying with those cards using Paypal, making this an even better deal.
If this is your first time using Swych, an alternative option is to get $5 off your first order by using my referral code Stephen777543 when signing up. I’ll also earn 500 points with Swych which is also worth $5. The referral terms state that you can’t use both a referral code and a promo code in the same transaction, so $5 + 5% off your first transaction unfortunately isn’t an option.
