Barclays sent out targeted emails yesterday to some cardholders offering $10 back as a statement credit when using your card three times to spend at least $20 by mid-May.
The Deal
- Get a $10 statement when you make 3 purchases of $20+ on a targeted Barclays card.
Key Terms
- This offer is valid for eligible cardmembers and is not transferable.
- If your account is closed or you switch to another product during the promotional period, you may no longer be eligible for this promotion.
- If you enroll by 5/15/2024 and make 3 purchases each of at least $20 less credits, returns and adjustments (Net Purchases), you will earn $10 as a statement credit.
- Valid for eligible purchases with transaction dates from 4/15/2024 through 5/15/2024 .
- Limit one per account.
- Barclays is not responsible for merchant posting times.
- Cash advances and balance transfers do not apply for purposes of this offer and may impact the credit line available for this offer.

Quick Thoughts
$10 isn’t a huge win, but it is an easy win as it won’t be hard to put three transactions of $20 on a targeted card.
My wife received this offer on her Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus card, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Barclays is sending out similar offers on other cobranded cards. The email from Barclays addressed the fact that she hasn’t used her Wyndham card for a while (it’s been about four months since she last used it), so if you’ve not used a card issued by Barclays for a while, be sure to keep an eye on your emails for a similar offer. The email subject line was “Exclusive offer: Earn $10 when you use your card”, but they might use different email subject lines.

10x JetBlue points, up to 2500 points, for me and 5x JetBlue points, up to 2500 points, for my spouse.
I got this on my Hawaiian
I got $20 after 5 purchases of $20+ on my Barclays JetBlue Plus card.
I also got 10X up to 2500 points on my JetBlue card
My email said 3 x $20 purchases would produce a $10 statement credit, but the offer in the app said the “$10” would be provided as 1000 JetBlue TrueBlue points
Yeah same here, really odd execution. The email doesn’t say anywhere that it’s in the form of JetBlue points, but when I activated the offer the confirmation shows JetBlue points;

There is no mention of JetBlue points anywhere in the email.

I mean I suppose the points are technically worth a bit more than $20, but pretty poor messaging here, and have no idea what I’m actually going to get.
Gotta love these reactivation email campaigns. Most of the time I spend enough to meet the minimum spending requirement and then nothing else until the annual fee posts. Hoping to see some of these spending offers on my dormant Barclays CC.
