TopCashback has once again increased the rate it offers for purchases from Raise.com to 10%. This is due to end tomorrow (March 25), but don’t wait around as it’ll likely end at midday tomorrow rather than at midnight.

Quick Thoughts

This 10% rate from TopCashback has been coming around fairly frequently recently and is a great way to enhance the savings you’re getting from the already discounted gift cards listed on Raise.

One important thing to note regarding the timing of this is that while most shopping portals update their retailer rates at midnight (sometimes Eastern, sometimes Pacific), for some reason Raise’s rate on TopCashback seems to get updated at midday. TopCashback is listing the expiry date of this increased rate as tomorrow – March 25. That probably means that it’ll end at midday tomorrow, so don’t wait around until the afternoon or evening to take advantage of this.

Another reason to purchase sooner rather than later is that the better discounts will also go sooner rather than later. For example, at the time of publishing this, there are four $25 Chili’s gift cards being sold for 18.8-18.9% off ($20.28-$20.31). Those will likely get sold fairly quickly, especially with this 10% cashback rate, with the next highest discount being 15.1%.

One other important thing to note is what I’ve bolded in the terms above – orders submitted under $20 aren’t eligible for cashback. I’ve made that mistake before – I bought a $25 gift card for something like $19.17; while that was a great discount, I’d specifically bought it to stack with a 10% cashback rate from TopCashback, forgetting that it was below that $20 threshold.

Went through TCB for this 10% offer and 15% offer yesterday. Followed T&Cs but both times, transaction was tracked but cashback declined by Raise. It’s a scam.

Nicholas Wong

Yeah I spent $194 and $99 on each transaction. Also well below $5K lifetime purchase…
It definitely tracked just fine, but Raise declined both within hours of the purchases.

Dominique

Hello Nicholas,

I can assure you we are not a scam. We have been in contact with the network (Raise.com) and they were experiencing some technical issues. However, this should all be resolved shortly. In the meantime, could you please send me an email to promotions@topcashback.com and so I can flag your account and get you the cashback?

Thank you,

Dominique

FYI to readers –
I’ve sent email to TCB the same day of Dominique’s message and received an update on April 7 with $5 credit for the inconvenience.

As of today, the missing cashback(s) from Raise still hasn’t been resolved.
I’d recommend to continue avoiding Raise offers.

Nicholas Wong

It got fixed for a few weeks and now the cashback is showing as Declined again.
I didn’t even know cashback could go from Payable to Declined…

Dominique

Hello Nicholas,

Thank you for your message. I can assure you we aren’t a scam. The network (Raise) was experiencing a technical issue on their end that was automatically declining all transactions. They have, since then fixed the issue and we have sent over a list of 100+ members ID numbers and they have already begun reimbursing cashback as the issue has been sorted out. If you would please email me directly to promotions@topcashback.com I would be happy to send your info over so they can do the same for you as well. In the meantime, I would also like to credit your account with $5 payable for your patience. As you can understand, we were dealing with a high volume of complaints due to this issue. To be fair, it really had nothing to do with us but would still of course love a chance to make it right. I will be awaiting your email.

Thank you

Matt

Would love to catch this offer but I’m still waiting for TCB to track my last raise purchase from a month ago

Dominique

Hello Matt,

We’ve actually been experiencing some technical issues with Raise.com, but we have been in touch with the network and a resolution should be made shortly. Please send me an email to promotions@topcashback.com in the meantime so I can flag your account down and get you the cashback you deserve.

Thank you
