Verizon / T-Mobile Chase Offer: $50 back on wireless payments

13

There are two next Chase offers out for Verizon and T-Mobile customers, each one offering $50 back on a second payment of $50. The Verizon offer that I have specifies that you need to be a new customer and that both payments need to be $50+ in order to qualify, while it sounds like the T-Mobile version only requires that there be a first payment of some amount.

These seem to be targeted specifically to business cards and I got the Verizon version on all of my Ink Cash cards. I’d love to see the terms and conditions of the T-Mobile offer, so if anyone has it, please leave them in the comments and I’ll add it into the post.

The Offer

  • There are at least two next Chase offers out for Verizon and T-Mobile customers, each one offering $50 back on a second payment of $50.
    • Offer expires 10/9/24 or 10/14/24.
    • Must make second payment by 11/1/24 or 11/23/24.

Terms and Conditions (Verizon)

  • Offer expires 10/9/2024.
  • Offer valid one time only for new postpaid Verizon Wireless customers with a new line on myPlan.
  • Must make two qualifying payments on Verizon wireless postpaid mobile services by 11/23/2024.
  • Offer only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant.
  • Offer not valid on accessories, equipment purchases or Prepaid services.
  • Your $50.00 cash back will be earned and applied to your account within 14 days after making your second transaction.

Terms and Conditions (T-Mobile)

  • Offer expires 10/14/2024.
  • Must make second payment by 11/1/24.
  • Offer valid one time only, with a 2 purchase minimum.
  • Payment must be made directly with the merchant.
  • Offer not valid on purchases made using third-party services, delivery services, or a third-party payment account (e.g., buy now pay later). (h/t: reader Ping)

Quick Thoughts

There appear to be several versions of this offer out there, so it’s worth double-checking the terms on yours.

The good news is that these appear to be targeted to Ink cards, and the Ink Cash earns 5x Ultimate Rewards points on payments to cell providers. All of my Ink Cash cards were targeted for the Verizon deal, which is a bummer for me since I’m a T-Mobile customer.

The Verizon offer that I received has a different expiration date than the others that I’ve seen posted and also specifies that you must be a new customer (defined as having a new line) in order for your payment to qualify. It sounds like the T-Mobile offer doesn’t have these terms and that there may be another version of the Verizon offer that doesn’t require it either. Even if you do have those terms, it could be worth adding it to your card anyway and making the two payments in order to see if it triggers.

Does this work for Verizon and T-Mobile Home Internet (Wireless) plan payments?
T-Mo Home Internet typically has a cashback offer on C1 or Rakuten, and they have a “$200 back when you sign up for T-Mobile 5G Home Internet” promo running with 60-days of service (so practically, 3 months). If they stacked, could be a MM.
3 months of service: $150. Visa GC: $200. Rakuten CB: $75 (or a better C1 targeted offer). $100 back on Chase Ink Offer. $225 back + 3 months of internet service.

Trying two manual payments on Verizon anyone know if this will work?

Chuck

Or if there’s a time required between the does it have to appear like 2 billing cycles?

Nathan

Anyone successfully triggered the T-mobile one by making two $50 manual payments?

Clara

I got the T-Mobile offer on my IHG biz card

Matt

No offers on any card for me, must be smart enough to know I already use their card for my payment

Josh

I got both offers on my Ritz card, so it doesn’t seem to be only business cards that are targeted

Josh

By the way, do you think the verizon offer would work with Fios payment?
