Wyndham Rewards currently has an offer that targeted members can enroll in to earn 10 bonus elite night credits on your next stay. That could prove useful for someone who’s trying to qualify for status organically.
The Deal
- Earn 10 bonus elite night credits on your next Wyndham Rewards stay.
- Direct link to registration.
Key Terms
- To qualify for the Thank You for Staying Wyndham Rewards 10 Bonus Qualifying Nights offer (“10 Bonus Nights Thank You Offer”), a Wyndham Rewards Member must:
- (i) receive an email invitation from Wyndham Rewards specific to the 10 Bonus Nights Thank You Offer and/or receive the 10 Bonus Nights Thank You Offer in the “My Promotions” section of their Wyndham Rewards Member account (each, an “Invitation”); then
- (ii) during his/her/their Offer Period and before completing his/her/their Offer Qualifying Stay (each as defined below), register for the 10 Bonus Nights Thank You Offer via the click through process set forth in the Invitation or by calling Member Services at the applicable number found here. For purposes of these Promotion Terms, ”Offer Period” means, in respect of each invited Member, the period of time that begins on the date such Member’s Thank You Offer Invitation is issued and ends on the date that is 90 consecutive days thereafter;
- (iii) during his/her/their Offer Period, book one (1) Qualified Stay at a Participating Hotel (a) on www.wyndhamhotels.com/wyndham-rewards, wyndhamhotels.com, any of the official brand websites of the participating Hotel Chains, the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts app, via the official toll free reservation number of Wyndham Rewards or any of the participating Hotel Chains; (b) onsite at a Participating Hotel, directly with such hotel; or (c) via a non-online travel agent (i.e., a traditional travel agent); and begin and complete such Qualified Stay during the Offer Period (an “Offer Qualifying Stay”).
- A Member who completes one (1) Offer Qualifying Stay pursuant to these Promotion Terms will receive ten (10) bonus Qualifying Nights (the “Bonus Nights”). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in these Promotion Terms, there is a maximum of ten (10) Bonus Nights per Member, regardless of how many stays such Member completes during his or her Offer Period. A Member will not receive the Bonus Nights for a no-show. Qualified Stays are subject to certain restrictions and do not include third party online bookings; see the Program Terms for more information about Qualified Stays. The Bonus Nights will usually be posted to an eligible Member’s Member account within two to four weeks following the completion of such Member’s Offer Qualifying Stay. For clarity, any stay (a) booked or consumed (in whole or in part) outside of a Member’s Offer Period; and/or (b) completed prior to registration, will not be counted for this 10 Bonus Nights Thank You Offer.
Quick Thoughts
Wyndham makes it easy to earn status with them courtesy of their status match. To be honest, their status doesn’t really count for much when staying at their own properties, but Wyndham Diamond status can come in handy thanks to their partnership with Caesars Rewards which gets you corresponding Diamond status.
A drawback with Diamond status obtained via a status match is that it’s not eligible for matching to Caesars Diamond status – only Wyndham Diamond status earned organically or via their Business credit card counts. You have to earn 40 elite night credits with Wyndham to earn Diamond status, so the 10 bonus elite night credits from this promotion can get you 25% of the way there.
Unfortunately, this appears to be a targeted promotion. Miles Earn and Burn shared the landing page yesterday and said that it likely works for everyone. However, I tried registering my wife’s account and got the following error message: “We’re sorry, this offer code isn’t valid. Please check the code and try again, or visit the Offers page to see our current promotions.” The terms of the offer also state that it’s targeted, so it does seem like that’s being enforced.
That said, if 10 elite night credits would be helpful for you, it’s worth trying to register in case you are indeed targeted but hadn’t realized and/or hadn’t received an email about the opportunity.
I got the same. Code not valid. No harm in trying despite low value.
