Members who have elected to earn Travel Partner Currency in their member profile and who book and stay in accordance with the Promotion, will receive their base point earning in Travel Partner Currency with the Bonus denominated in 5,000 Wyndham Rewards points.
Wyndham only charges 15,000 points per night at any of their properties, so it may be possible to earn bonuses at their lower end hotels to use towards a booking at one of their nicer properties.

I believe you can also earn the $100 gift card after 2 stays in conjunction with this promotion, correct? So after 2 stays, will end up with $100 gift cards and 10,000 Points, which is pretty sweet deal.
Interesting promo. Thanks. I actually have a bunch of Wyndham Rewards points left over from when they were cheap to buy on Daily Getaways, and from a credit card sign-up. The problem with using these points is that you want to “save them” for the better Wyndhams. But since these better Wyndhams are few and far between, you wind up with the points just sitting in your account!
Still, it seems like this offer could be lucrative. The key would be to using it for one-night stays in cheap — but non-objectionable — USA motels. Like Super 8’s and such. I guess I’d value 5000 Wyndham points as being worth about $40 (as that’s about what I’d pay for them if they were for sale). I also see that I’m allowed to do this offer 2 times. I guess I’ll more seriously consider Wyndham for any future 1-night motel stays in the next few months.
And don’t forget to sign up for the $100 GC promo whereas you can basically get back all of your money, all on the same 2 stays, and still be able to use that refunded GC money to go along with those points for a better hotel stay elsewhere (Hawai’i comes to mind).
