There’s a targeted Citi Merchant offer out that’s good for 10% back at Circle K through June 30, 2023. This could be a nice offer if you have a Circle K gas station nearby and it would stack with Upside if you have Circle K in your area. There’s sadly no good gift card play with this latest version though.
The Deal
- There’s a Citi Merchant Offer out that’s good for 10% back at Circle K on a purchase of $35 or more up to 2 times [Targeted; check your online Citi account)
Key Terms
- Expires 6/30/23
- Valid on a purchase of $35 or more up to two times.
- Limit $5 back per transaction.
Quick Thoughts
Stephen found this offer on all his Citi cards. If you have it on a Citi Premier, it would make for a nice stack with 3x at gas stations on that card, or 5x on a Custom Cash card if gas stations is your highest category of spend for the billing cycle. You can only use this offer twice on purchases over $35, so you’ll want to consider how to take maximum advantage for your two purchases.
There’s something important to note with this latest iteration of the offer which is why we wanted to republish it. When this offer ran through April 30, there was no upper limit stated for how much you could save. That meant that you could – in theory – use it to buy gift cards in-store at Circle K and get 10% back. This latest version of the offer has a limit of $5 back as a statement credit per transaction which makes that option much less worthwhile as you’d be limited to a $50 gift card purchase.
Circle K often appears in the Upside app, so earnings from there would stack with this Citi Offer.
I spent $60 on fuel but it shows up as “Gulf” fuel so I don’t think it will trigger.
There’s a simplymiles offer on circle K that stacks with this.
Does anyone know how to differentiate between Shell and Circle K? I’ve had a few times in the past when GasBuddy said “Shell/Circle K” or Upside said “Circle K” but later it appeared on my statement as “Shell” so my purchase did not trigger the offer.
Did they add the $5 thing?
“Earn 10% back on a purchase of $35 or more.
Save money on fuel! Fuel up at Circle K and earn 10% back on your next fuel purchase of $35 or more, up to a maximum $5 statement credit.”
Fuel purchase may not be enforced, but maximum credit is $5 per the terms.
