Quick Thoughts
Uber always has an offer out for new riders and several of my Amex accounts show a promo code for new riders as well — but this offer is good for anyone if it is targeted to your account. Whether you use this to save on a ride (or multiple rides) or to order delivery, getting $10 back on a $15 charge is a great deal. I’ve got some travel coming up during the offer period and intended to use Uber anyway, so I’ll be happy to save $10.
This offer is targeted — I saw it on personal credit cards (both co-brand and Membership Rewards), so I imagine it may be pretty widely available (though I didn’t see it on business cards or personal charge cards in my case).
It is possible that this could stack well for new users. If you have not used Uber Eats before, Acorns offers $5 invested in your Acorns account with new Uber Eats signup. That should turn this into $15 back on $15.
Read more about Acorns Found Money here. If you’re new to Acorns, I you can get an additional $5 for signing up. Here are our links:
Furthermore, using a referral code for Uber Eats entitles you to $5 off your first order. I’m not positive whether or not that will stack with this offer, but here’s my referral link (if you sign up through Acorns, you’d probably have to enter my code once you get the Uber Eats app: eats-nicholasr234).
I also added a few other offers found this morning to our Current Amex Offers database, where you can see and search the database of current existing offers.
