Quick Thoughts
I don’t yet see information about this reflected on the Chase or DoorDash sites, but we got wind of this promotion from a PR team that handles Chase announcements so I am fully confident that this will apply for cardholders and hope to take advantage of it myself this week. This statement credit is in recognition of the 25th anniversary of the Chase Southwest credit cards.
Keep in mind that there is a separate offer to enroll in DashPass with most Chase co-branded cards and another offer to get a $10 statement credit when activating DashPass with a Chase co-branded card by the end of this month. I’m not sure whether that $10 credit will stack with this temporary one for Southwest cards specifically, but it might (or it may be possible to activate DashPass separately under a different card with that offer and and then also get a $10 statement credit with this offer). At a minimum, you should be able to activate the complimentary year of DashPass with your Southwest credit card and pick up this $10 statement credit.
Any way you slice it, this is a good deal for Chase Southwest cardholders. Note that this offer should definitely work on consumer cards, but I’m not sure on the business side.
I made doordash purchases of about $14 during this promotion with 2 different Southwest credit cards (different people) and neither one of us received a credit. Did anyone receive the credit?
