There’s a new Amex Offer for Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and LXR properties that gets you $100 back when spending $500 or more. The offer is targeted, but I found it on about 75% of my wife’s and my cards. Quick Thoughts
Finally, a hotel Amex Offer that isn’t limited to the US! This one can be used at many Waldorf Astoria, LXR or Conrad properties worldwide, which is great as that’s where many of the most desireable locations are. The country list is still somewhat random, specifying specific European and Asian countries (Scotland but not England?!?). Still, it’s a vast improvement on the usual narrow US/Mexico restriction.
Your article gave me a lot of inspiration, I hope you can explain your point of view in more detail, because I have some doubts, thank you.
can you buy a gift card and use it on International property. I have a WA stay but will use points. thinking of buying some GC during the stay, have it charged in the same account and use the GC for Japan Conrad.
did this ever work? the gift card thing
Looks like the offer was pulled early.
I wonder if this can be applied to dining on site. Under the key terms, it states valid on reservations made on the website, but hopefully it works if you bill the meal to the room.
Yes, it absolutely will work.
Wake me up when these type offers don’t exclude properties outside the U.S. Does this reveal the lack of demand for U.S. properties or is it simply the way their system is set up? Maybe it’s too difficult to include all the individually managed international locations? Interesting.
Yeah, that’s an unfortunate feature of some many of these offers.
Very much echo this! Headed to Zemi House next month and would love to be able to take advantage of this offer!
Didn’t pop up on my Aspire card but both offers are on my ancient Blue card.
Amex Offers are an enigma wrapped up in a mystery to me. I don’t get how and why they’re targeted.
wow, there’s exactly 3 LXRs in the USA. What a great offer! /s
One is in a boring location. Seattle?
Santa Monica also rings on the boredom meter for me anyway.
so can’t stack with FHR.
Could stack with Aspire $250 resort credit it sounds like.
Can it stack with the $100 on-site credit for 2 night stays at a Conrad? – Aspire card.Never used that.
Doesn’t fit my timeframe of travel..so useless for me.
Does it definitely not stack with FHR?
