Quick Thoughts
At just over 60% off, this is an excellent discount on gift cards for Roy’s Restaurant and, as Doctor of Credit notes, could be a very profitable deal for resellers.
Your biggest challenge will be finding the gift cards in the first place as they’re sold out online and may well be sold out in your store too.
Roy’s Restaurant has a presence in six continental US states, so it wouldn’t be surprising if it’s only Sam’s Club stores in Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland and Texas that carry these gift cards.
You guys ROCK…80% off!!
$19.21 for (2) $50 cards, I bought $800 worth for $153.68 (using a Walmart gc I bought last December w my 5% CF bonus!).
I beat a path to Sam’s, but there weren’t any Roy’s mixed in as usual with the other cards. So I waited in the very dreaded c/s line, at which point they told me they had never seen 60% off ANY cards. I asked nicely if they would still chk for me, & they came back with 80% from somewhere in the “back.”
Anyways, my graduation gifts/mom’s day etc etc etc DONE at a fraction. Many thx for this one, Stephen! You just made my life a whole lot less hectic.
Good deal! I only got 60% off 🙂
still great for solid fine dining/resell!
That’s an amazing deal – nice one!
There’s Roy’s and Sam’s Club in Honolulu, also, so anyone heading to Hawaii might want to grab these!
The Roy’s cards sold at Sam’s are not valid for use in Hawaii. Though they carry the name, the Roy’s mainland restaurants are a separate company. Online cards sold on the Roy’s website are good in Hawaii, however.
