Quick Thoughts
In a normal world, an offer that provides both United club access and 100,000 redeemable miles for the $450 first-year fee would be pretty notable. And if you do value United club access, this is a strong offer. On the other hand, given the proliferation of six-figure offers on cards that earn transferable points over the past two years and the easy status match offered by Star Alliance airline ANA earlier this year, I would guess that 100K airline miles and club access may be less enticing than in the past for many folks.
Keep in mind that this card earns 1.5x on everyday purchases, so after meeting minimum spending requirements, you would have at least 115,000 points.
United miles can be quite valuable and this card will have a place for its target market. The nice thing is that since this is a business card, it will not add to your 5/24 count — though you’ll still need to be under 5/24 to be approved.

One additional important detail is that you can redeem UA miles at 1.5 CPP to offset the AF if you don’t want to eat the $450 AF or otherwise have UA club access through *A Gold.
Can you do this with the regular united business card as well?
Yes. You can do that with any Chase United card.

This card counts toward 5/24? I thought Business cards did not count.
The article specifically states that the card will not add to your 5/24 count.
Thanks.. I got to this part “This card is subject to Chase’s 5/24 rule (click here for details).” and didn’t see the rest.
You just have to be under 5/24 to apply. Doesn’t count for your personal 5/24
